Deck Railing Replacement & Porch Screen Repair in Falls Church, VA

What to do when you have two dogs whom you love but they keep destroying your screened in porch? During construction, a railing was installed on the above ground side of the porch. However, the side which was at grade did not have a railing because it was not required by code. The dogs would get excited and push through the screens on this side of the porch to access the backyard. The homeowner requested we install a railing so the only exit for the dogs would be through the dog door.

She wanted the new deck railing to have the same look and feel as the existing one.

The HandyMensch built a custom ten section railing to solve the problem. Each section was designed to fit between the vertical support posts so the railing would remain as unobtrusive as possible. We also re-screened all of the damaged sections.
