Floor Tile Replacement

When you are selling your house, moving out of town and about to have a baby all within a few weeks, replacing the tile floor in your basement is not on the list of things you want to do yourself.

A realtor contacted us with a project that required a quick turnaround. The homeowners had a sump pump installed to remediate a water problem in their basement. The contractor had jack hammered the concrete floor and removed a fair amount of tile. The property was about to go to settlement and they were having difficulty finding a company that could replace the damaged tile quickly.

The HandyMensch was able to replace the tile within a few days. The project required dealing with an uneven concrete floor and tiling around the sump pump. Once we completed our work, you could not tell the floor had been replaced. We worked around the homeowner’s schedule, which included the delivery of their first child.
