What gives us the right to assume we meet the definition of a Mensch?

We get that question from time to time when speaking with a new customer about our handyman services. It does take a bit of Chutzpah (another Yiddish word meaning audacity) to claim the title but we look at it differently. It sets a level of expectation with our customers that we have to live up to every day. When we come to your home, we want you to expect the best from our associates. This means we will be:

On-time:

We give you a set time for an appointment and we strive to be on-time. If we are running late due to traffic we will give you a call.

Professional:

Our associates will be dressed professionally and act courteously. Our vans have been decaled with the HandyMensch logo and are equipped with the tools necessary to get your job done.

Clean:

We are a guest in your home and will treat it with the respect it deserves. This includes covering your furniture with clean furniture blankets (not a dirty drop cloth) and making sure that we clean up after the job is done.

Consultative:

We strive to give you the best advice, even when it results in less work for us. We don’t just buy whatever is available at the big orange box store, because it may not be the right product for your project. We have numerous specialty resources for plumbing, lighting, lumber, tile, etc both locally and nationally.
